Helping schools build sustainable CS programs

For over ten years, the TEALS program has partnered with nonprofits, NGOs, and corporations, both local and global, to build  teacher capacity and student interestn in CS, Our partners are critical in expanding our reach.

Nonprofits, NGOs, and other community organizations act as regional experts, are the main drivers of CS education initiatives, and implement the TEALS program in schools.

Corporate pictures support our work by co-investing in CS education initiatives, encouraging their employees to volunteer, and funding local implementation work.

TEALS is expanding to increase our reach and impact

We are looking for corporate and nonprofit partners with an interest supporting CS education  to bring the TEALS program to additional countries.

Microsoft TEALS Program

Microsoft TEALS Program es un proyecto de Microsoft Philantropies que, desde el 2009, ha atendido a 95,000 jóvenes estudiantes de preparatoria en Estados Unidos y British Columbia llevándoles educación de calidad en Ciencias Computacionales sin ningún costo para ellos. 

Ciudad Juárez, gracias al apoyo de FECHAC y de Microsoft TechSpark México, se ha convertido en la primera sede del programa fuera de Estados Unidos y Canadá. Obedeciendo a la creciente demanda de profesionistas con conocimientos en lenguajes de programación y, en particular, Python, llega a nosotros un programa educativo diseñado por Carnegie Mellon University, la número uno en Ciencias Computacionales en EEUU. en el lenguaje de programación Python.
