The objective of Fab Lab Móvil is to provide technological education to middle school students in at-risk areas of Ciudad Juárez, to develop soft skills and digital competencies through 3 modules: digital fabrication, virtual reality, and programming. We seek to improve school performance and broaden their educational perspectives.
Thanks to the support of Fondo Unido – United Way Chihuahua,with the investmentof Aptiv and in partnership with the United States Consulate in Mexico, $3.4 million pesos were allocated for the purchase and equipment of the vehicle that allowed to bring technological knowledge to more than 1709 beneficiaries during 2021 in 5 middle schools in low-income neighborhoods. Currently Fab Lab Móvil reaches the Federal No. 11, Federal No. 14, Technical No. 93 and State No. 3012 middle schools.
